Boneware is a self-hardening water-based clay that is made for direct modeling/sculpting. Supported by its own weight, this clay does not require an armature.
Like all moist clays, Boneware is easily kept soft and pliable when lightly moistened with water and overlaid with a damp cloth while not in use.
Specifically formulated to become bone hard when allowed to air dry thoroughly, Boneware does not need kiln firing or baking. After completely drying, decorating Boneware can be done using tempera and oil paints as well as enamels. Packed moist and ready to use.
