Strop – John Dunkle’s pigskin leather strop

John's  leather strop is one she best strops we have tried.  The leather is made very thin to help prevent the tool edge from sinking into the leather. Any sinking action also tends to round the edge. This strop provides
one of the best ways to keep the razor edge on your tools that is needed for best carving results.

The strop is approx. 12" long and the leather is 7" long and 2" wide. 

Honing compound should be worked into the leather before using. The best compound we ever tried:
