Complete burning pen, pen body and tip are attached as one unit. They are not replaceable tips.Exactly the same as the standard #17, except it has two extra foam grips added to the pen barrel to keep the heat off of your hand. The standard #17 can heat up the pen body when used at higher heat settings for extended periods of time (limited choke point in tip)…. This one costs a dollar more than the standard #17
